Job Title:QA Analyst
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6 Months
Max Rate: $42/hr on c2C
Description:
Description: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Eng, MIS, or equivalent • Minimum 6 years of applications testing experience • Excellent understanding of Software quality assurance and Testing philosophies and methodologies • Experience testing web-based applications • Basic understanding of Relational Database Management System concepts • Exceptional analytical skills • Excellent problem solving abilities • Understands the relationship between business requirements, specifications and written test plans • Ability to work effectively within a team and to take on individual project assignments given little direction • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, attention to detail • Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities • Understanding of SQL and experience creating SQL queries a plus • Familiarity with distributed application problems and issues in large web-based environments • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
