Position: MySQL DBA
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 3+ Months, with options to extend.
Rate: Expected rate(Please be competitive)
Required Skill Set:
· 7 year experience with database and server security 8 Understanding of TCP/IP concepts, knowledge and familiarity with SQL server 2005 /2008, SSIS, SSRS
· Experience with Windows administration
· Experience with VW ware administration MYSQL DBA
· 6 years experience with Backups, Restores, jobs, alerts, and processes on SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
· Experience with innodb and MYISAM database engines in MYSQL
· Backup and Disaster Recovery
· Experience in troubleshooting performance issues on MYSQL e.g. how do you troubleshoot a slow running query.
· Experience with ndb clustering
